The Story

Selina: Director, Photo House London

Boudoir photography found me quite early as a photographer. One of my first clients asked if I could do a shoot as a birthday gift for her partner. I said yes (intrigued) and the whole experience was incredible. She arrived with a little suitcase of outfits, we played music, tried things out and leaned into the poses that felt right. Somewhere between the giggles and the outfit changes, she started to move differently. It was so much fun, deeply liberating and really personal. Essentially, it was more than a photoshoot and I realised I’d found something really special.

Because it isn’t about becoming sexy for someone else (although that’s absolutely allowed). It’s about taking time out for yourself to appreciate how powerful and beautiful you are already. Because one day, almost certainly, you’ll look back and wish you spent more time and energy celebrating how amazing you are right now. Don’t wait for ‘perfect’ or something unobtainable. Whether you're celebrating a milestone or just craving something new and exciting, Boudoir is a gift to yourself and by the end of the shoot, the vibe is always the same: empowered, electric and unforgettable.

I’ve never worked on a Boudoir shoot with anyone who’s tried it before, so that’s always special in itself. I’ll be with you every step of the way making sure you feel comfortable, relaxed and like an absolute Queen, as we take your confidence from a 4 to a 10. I look after the Art Direction, your only job is to show up and have fun. If you're curious or even intrigued, you are more than welcome to reach out with questions. Just call or email and we can take it from there.
