The Story

Selina: Director, Photo House London

Good photography matters. An image can shape a first impression, launch a career, rebuild someones confidence, start the conversation, even swipe your way to love. That is the power of a great portrait and it’s why I love what I do.

I initially started a photography business when I was 15. Some people were a bit surprised to show up and find a teenager behind the camera - but once we got chatting, that didn’t matter. What did matter, were the photos. I had an instinct for making people look good, and more importantly, feel good in front of a camera.

These days I have years of experience, better equipment and a sharper eye for what makes a photo work. But the most important part hasn’t changed: I see beauty in people and I capture it so that you can see it too and show it to the world with confidence.

The Storyboard.

Unlike most studios, your final selection is not limited to one or two images, but an entire storyboard. Not just for weddings, or for fashion week, your Storyboard is a portfolio of you at your best, ready to post online, or gatekeep forever.
